We believe that it is important for a breeder to fully stand behind their dogs and provide lifetime support. With that in mind, we invite you to browse our sample contracts below. We always enjoy receiving pictures and updates about our puppies and welcome any questions you may have whether it's 10 days after your purchase or 10 years after.
As you browse our contracts, we'd like to point out several major differences between our guarantee and that of many other breeders.
Many breeders only guarantee freedom from hip dysplasia until 1 year of age. Since the official OFA certification can't be performed until 2 yrs, that requires puppy owners to submit to the expense, cost, and stress on the dog of two sets of x-rays. Our guarantee gives you until 3 years of age so you have plenty of time and don't need to perform unnecessary medical procedures unless you choose to.
We guarantee genetic diseases for the lifetime of the dog. We don't single out specific diseases which we will and will not guarantee, instead, ours is a blanket guarantee covering all genetic diseases. While this certainly subjects us to greater risk, we feel that it provides the new owner with the best possible protection.
We do not automatically require that you return the dog to us in order to take advantage of a guarantee as we feel that may be an emotionally unacceptable choice for some people.
If for any reason you cannot keep your puppy at some point in the future, we will always take it back and we insist that our dogs will never be found in a shelter or rescue group.
