Hokschhaus German Shepherds is a
German Shepherd breeder located near Madison WI. We offer puppies
for sale from top quality West German
Shepherd show lines. Our
German Shepherd puppies are bred to compete in
the conformation ring and on the Schutzhund field. We are proud members of
United Schutzhund Clubs of
America and the GSDCA-WDA.
Our goal at Hokschhaus German Shepherds is to produce high quality German Shepherd dogs through excellent breeding and training. We strive for puppies with an impeccable temperament, sound structure and solid drives. We want our dogs to succeed in every area - whether it's the conformation ring, the Schutzhund field, search and rescue or as loving family companions.
In order to achieve this goal we only breed dogs who have a stable temperament, good conformation, working ability and are in good health. All of our breeding stock is OFA'd prior to breeding and all dogs are kept in a family environment. Breeding dogs is our hobby, not our livelihood, and we carefully research our bloodlines to ensure that each breeding is done with the goal of furthering the breed.
We
believe that German Shepherds have been bred to bond intensely with
people. We also believe that they are very intelligent and as such
are meant to live in the house as part of a family, not kept in kennels
or crated. Therefore all of our dogs live with us in the house
where they're an active part of our daily lives. This limits the
amount of dogs which we can keep at our home so we have developed a
co-ownership program which places a
well-trained adult with a family at no charge to the family. This
allows us to expand our breeding program and keep back top puppies while
allowing every dog to live happily in a family home.
All of our dogs are fed a diet of Nutri-Source dog food, and Fastrack supplements. Our german shepherd puppies are lovingly cared for in a family environment and receive daily socialization and stimulation.
We do the best that we can to ensure that we make the best possible match between each dog and their new family. All of our puppies come with an excellent health guarantee and lifelong support.
